Any day on the golf course is a good day

My name is Blaine Ballard and I’m a freelance writer passionate about all things golf.  I played on my high school golf team in the mid-eighties, but my addiction really began after I got married and my kids were born.  Don’t get me wrong – I loved raising a family.  But I didn’t fully appreciate the “zen” quality of golf until I was much older.  On the course, the stresses that come with everyday life fade into the background.  I get to enjoy the great outdoors and get some exercise while spending quality time with people I care about.  Someday I want to participate in competitive amateur golf again, but for now I’m content playing for the pure enjoyment of the sport.

The same passion I have for playing the game has been funneled into this project.  I hope you enjoy Addicted2Golf and the information that we’ve shared here.  Feel free to email me with any ideas on how to improve the site.  We would love to hear from you and feedback is always welcome.
