Forbes.com is speculating that the 10 million dollar bonus that Tiger Woods earned for winning the Fedex Cup Title has made him sports first billion dollar man. Tiger continues to be a dominant force in golf and has been for over a decade now. He’s had many challengers over the years but nobody has been able to elevate their game to Tiger’s level both on and off the golf course. Tiger clearly has an “it” factor and that has left me wondering..
Exactly what is “it”?
Is Q-School really the way to separate the guys who have “it” versus the ones that don’t?
Is there an absolute or can a player have some of “it” but not all of “it”?
Is it hereditary or do some guys over time develop “it”?
Can you bottle “it”?
What did Nike mean when they told us to Just do “it”?
If “it” is a factor then can it be a non-factor?
What exactly is the contract value of “it”? Can you put a performance clause on achieving “it”?
Do all Supermodels dig “it”?
Is it possible to have “it” but not know you have “it”?
And most importantly, if I don’t have “it” then how do I get “it”?

Tiger’s reign is undisputed!

I think “it” takes so much time, effort, and dedication that many people don’t really want “it” because it takes too much work.
Tiger is so awesome because he wants it all, and can work hard enough for it and he can handle it when he gets what he wants.

Love this article – I too am in search of the illusive “it” factor but where do you look?
I think everyone has the “it” factor but for different things. Some are good at golf, some at singing, some at driving, some at being nice to people.
We all have it in different ways but I reckon most of us don’t know what we’re really good. Hell, I might be a top class metal detector guy but I would never know it cos I haven’t tried it!
Anyway, if you do suss out how to bottle it, let us know A2G! I’ll buy a bottle…

It seems possible to have “it”, lose “it”, then, get”it” back again.

Cool blog! Tiger Woods is the most dominant athlete in all of sports which is probably why he is the richest. Anyway, to all you golfers out there, I recently came across this new golf practice device called the Rope-it backyard driving range. its a golf ball attached to a bungee rope. for $20 bucks it looked cool enough to try it out. Simple to set up, easy to use, and effective backyard practice. I would reccommend any one try it out http://www.ropeitgolf.com great gift for the holiday season as well. enjoy

We can say he needs to get his **** together. Clearly, off the course, he doesn’t get “it”.

It’s interesting to read the write ups about Tiger Woods before and after the big scandal. Although what he did was indeed awful, it was his personal life – until the tabloids got into the picture, it didn’t affect his actual golf performance. Image really is everything.
